    Hi all,

Just a quick update for you all. We (Carlos!) has found the solution for this, it involves local permissions setting for your browser.

We’ve tested it and it all seems to be working perfectly, however, given the numerous browsers and operating systems, we need to write a series of instructions to cover everything for everyone. We will have these completed and I will post them all here tomorrow for you all – please bear with us.

In the meantime, the above fix will work so you can use as a stop gap if you wish to.

Thanks a lot and many thanks for your patience.

    Best wishes,

    Luke.

    Hi everyone,

As promised, please find attached the instructions for ensuring that the latest version of Flash Player works on your computer (this is needed to allow you to access some formative questions).

Chrome automatically installs the latest version of Flash Player via a web browser – for that reason, the instructions are exactly the same for all operating systems using Chrome as a browser (flash_instructions_Chrome.pdf).

All other browsers (as far as we can tell!) require a system specific fix that can be found in the relevant attached document (Windows: flash_instructions_Windows ; Mac: flash_instructions_Mac).

We have tested both of these fixes with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Opera and it works for all – hopefully that covers all of the browsers that you may be using, however, if you need any further help, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Apologies for any inconvenience this issue may have caused, hopefully you are all now able to fix everything.

    Thanks a lot,

    Luke.

    Hi Chris,

This issue doesn’t apply to SMO modules (MLA701 and 702) or the later HA ones (504 and 505) as we are now using Adobe Captivate to build the formative quizzes which doesn’t rely on Flash but produces HTML only pages.

So all SMO formative questions should work fine without the need of any fix.
