With Band Together soon coming up, we’re happy to share a little more about each of the artists that will be playing at the event. We’re looking forward to Freshly Squeezed, The Horizons, DJ Toshi, DJ Crabpaste, and DJ Arry joining us in a night of music, socialising and networking, at The Green Taverners, Home Park on Friday 29 August from 6pm – all in support of Shekinah’s work across Devon and Cornwall, and with a raffle containing excellent prizes donated by local businesses to help raise even more money for Shekinah.

Freshly Squeezed
Known for electrifying live performances, Freshly Squeezed are an evolution of funk, soul and hip hop hailing from the vibrant South West UK. A musical force that seamlessly blends heavy horns with soulful melodies and formidable MC. A musical force that seamlessly blends heavy horns with soulful melodies and formidable MC. The self titled EP dropped at the end of 2023 to great reception, and with it the band has solidified its status as a rising star in the funk scene.

An indie rock band who have gained a following with their energetic covers of fan favourites including: Arctic Monkeys / Kings of Leon / Muse / The Killers / Queen / The Hives / Blur / The Strokes / The Who among many others
DJ Toshi
Toshi is a dynamic local DJ making waves with genre bending, high-energy sets. From disco and house to garage, and drum & bass, his performances are sonic journeys built on connection, rhythm, and raw passion
DJ Arry
With three decades on the decks, he spent the 90s playing clubs & parties in Brighton, and moved to Plymouth in the early 00’s where he has blessed the city’s most renowned clubs playing alongside classic acts such as Don Letts, & Ragga Twins.
DJ Crabpaste
With 20 years experience DJ’ing, she and DJ Arry have spent many years doing sessions together, blessing the ones and twos with their house and breaks vibe, as well as Hip-Hop, DnB and Jungle. She’s an advocate for female DJ’s and mixing with Vinyl.

Based in Plymouth, Shekinah works across Cornwall and Devon, providing support to the homeless community. Their efforts include a range of initiatives designed to address the causes and consequences of homelessness while providing supplies such as food and clothing on a daily basis for those in need. They collaborate with organisations to secure accommodation, providing stable living conditions for the homeless members of our society, and also offer counselling services to address mental health challenges and substance abuse issues, key factors in the cycle of homelessness.
