MLA College Supports Maritime People and Culture Conference 2026 as Education Sponsor
05.06.2026
Last month, MLA College attended Spinnaker’s Maritime People and Culture Conference 2026 as an Education Sponsor, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the development of people, talent and leadership across the global maritime sector.
Hosted by Spinnaker, the Maritime People and Culture Conference brought together organisations from across the shipping and maritime industries to explore the evolving challenges and opportunities shaping the future workforce. The 2026 programme focused on a range of key topics influencing the sector, including artificial intelligence in maritime HR, neurodiversity and inclusion, mental health and wellbeing, employee experience, leadership development, and strategies for attracting and retaining the next generation of maritime talent.
As an institution dedicated to developing maritime professionals through flexible, career-focused education, MLA College was proud to support an event that places people at the centre of the industry’s future. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to engage with leaders from across the maritime community, exchange ideas and strengthen relationships with organisations committed to driving positive change within the sector.
Reflecting on the event, the MLA College team welcomed the opportunity to contribute to conversations around workforce development and the future of maritime careers. The themes explored throughout the conference closely align with MLA College’s mission to support lifelong learning, professional growth and leadership development across the maritime industry.
We would like to thank Spinnaker for hosting another successful Maritime People and Culture Conference and look forward to continuing to support initiatives that promote innovation, well-being, and talent development across the maritime industry.
