Digital Universities UK 2024.

Prof. John Chudley, Rector at MLA College, was a speaker at this year’s Digital Universities UK conference. The event, organised by Times Higher Education, was hosted by the University of Exeter on 16th-18th April.

Prof. Chudley was joined alongside John Kilroy, Founder and CEO of Digital Learning Institute, Mark Andrews, Adobe Education, and Angela Davies, Academic Lead for flexible learning pathways at the University of Manchester, for the workshop: ‘Meeting employer skills needs and supporting employer-based learning – what is the role of the university?’

They discussed themes such as how employability skills can be embedded within course curricula and the extent that universities should be matching the skills taught to industries.

Prof. Chudley presented how learning can be made accessible for all, highlighting how MLA College strives to give full flexibility to students so they can fit their studying around their life commitments.
