MLA College is proud to announce that it has been named a finalist in the ‘ESG & Impact’ category at this year’s EducationInvestor Awards, taking place this evening at the Hilton, Park Lane, London. Organised by Nexus Media Group, the awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the education sector, recognising organisations that are shaping the future of learning through impactful work and sustainable practices.
This marks the first time MLA College has been shortlisted in these highly competitive awards, and the nomination is a testament to the institution’s unwavering commitment to sustainability, accessibility, and global impact.
Through its Total Learning Package, MLA delivers one of the most sustainable higher education models for international students. By offering fully downloadable, video-based learning materials, students can pursue a UK degree entirely online—anytime, from anywhere in the world—without the need to travel to the UK. This flexible, low-carbon approach supports students who juggle work, family, or other commitments, while significantly reducing the environmental footprint of international study.
Furthermore, MLA College works closely with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) to align its degree programmes with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reinforcing its role as a driver of positive change in global education.
This evening, MLA College will be represented by Glenn Harris (Vice-Rector, Professional Services), Phil Hughes (Head of Operations), Pallavi Sharma (Head of Student Recruitment), and Gemma Harris (Admissions Officer), who will join industry peers at the awards ceremony.
Adding to the evening’s excitement, GEDU Global Education—MLA College’s parent company—has also been nominated in the ‘Investor of the Year’ category, highlighting the broader group’s dedication to global education investment and innovation.
