MLA College Launches New Support Resources to Tackle Harassment and Sexual Misconduct
01.08.2025
MLA College has launched a series of enhanced webpages and initiatives to strengthen its response to harassment and sexual misconduct and ensure students feel safe, supported, and heard. These developments – including the introduction of the SafeSpace Zone – form part of a wider commitment to student wellbeing, dignity, and respect across the College community.
The SafeSpace Zone is designed to support students who have experienced or witnessed harassment or sexual misconduct. It provides a clear, compassionate pathway for reporting concerns and accessing support, with a strong emphasis on student wellbeing, confidentiality, and institutional accountability.
Alongside this initiative, MLA College has also published updated guidance and reporting mechanisms via our dedicated Student Harassment and Sexual Misconduct page. These pages outline the College’s zero-tolerance approach and set out the procedures in place to respond to incidents appropriately and sensitively.
These resources reflect our proactive efforts to meet and exceed sector expectations under the Office for Students E6 Condition of Registration, while creating a college culture rooted in respect, dignity, and safety for all.
