About Our Requirements

All teaching, learning materials, and assessments at MLA College are delivered in English. To ensure students are able to engage successfully with their chosen programme, applicants must demonstrate an appropriate level of English language proficiency before commencing their studies.

The tables below outline the English language qualifications and test scores accepted by MLA College for entry onto our programmes.

As a specialist provider of online distance learning, MLA College welcomes applications from students worldwide and recognises a range of English language qualifications, academic awards, and approved language tests. In addition to the qualifications listed below, applicants may be able to demonstrate their English language proficiency through previous study completed in English or other recognised evidence, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that:

  • English language requirements may vary for certain programmes. Where higher requirements apply, these will be specified on the relevant programme page.
  • Applicants who do not currently hold an accepted English language qualification may be eligible to complete MLA College’s English language assessment as part of the admissions process.

If you are unsure whether your qualification meets our requirements, or if your qualification is not listed below, please contact the Admissions Team for advice.
