
Penelope Nozithelo Moyo (Kimani) is a marine and lacustrine scientist with expertise in aquatic ecosystem research, environmental education, and applied conservation. She holds an MSc in Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management, jointly awarded by Ghent University, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and the University of Antwerp, and developed her academic foundation through interdisciplinary training in marine, coastal, and freshwater sciences.
Her academic and professional background spans environmental research, higher education teaching, and community-based sustainability initiatives. As a Faculty Intern at Africa Nazarene University, she contributed to undergraduate teaching and curriculum delivery in environmental and aquatic sciences. She has also volunteered as an Environment Projects and Programmes Officer with Embrace the Earth, supporting environmental sustainability projects and community-focused education.
She joined MLA College as an Associate Tutor in January 2026. In her role, she supports student learning through tutorials, assessments, and academic guidance, helping learners develop strong scientific understanding and applied sustainability skills.
