
Natalie studied Ecology and Wildlife Conservation, graduating from Bournemouth University in 2023 with First Class Honours. Continuing her studies at Bournemouth she is currently completing her PhD research, investigating the ecological impacts and legal regulation of green hydrogen production from saltwater, within the North Sea. Her work takes an interdisciplinary approach, combining ecological modelling and critical analysis of environmental legal frameworks, for an evidence-based approach to marine governance. Through her studies, Natalie has extensive knowledge on marine conservation, environmental pollution and international, European and national environmental law. Through presenting at international conferences, Natalie has gained experience in and enjoys sharing her research with a wide audience, ensuring effective communication leads to the dissemination of valuable data. Away from work, Natalie enjoys surfing and beach cleaning.
