My name is Khulan Enkhtuya, and I’m excited to be joining the team as a Management Accountant at MLA College.
I have over six years of experience with GEDU, most recently as Group Accounts Payable Manager, where I led a team and managed the Accounts Payable function across multiple group entities. I’m now looking forward to broadening my experience in financial reporting, analysis and business partnering, while providing meaningful financial insights to support effective decision-making across the organisation.
In my role as Management Accountant, I am responsible for preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, analysing financial performance and providing clear and meaningful financial commentary. I also support budgeting, forecasting, revenue reporting, financial planning and month-end processes, helping the business understand key financial trends, variances and opportunities.
Working closely with teams across the college, I support balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany recharges and VAT/GST reporting. I also contribute to maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring financial information is accurate, complete, and appropriately supported.
A key part of my role is contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems, including the implementation and development of Unit4 with a focus on improving reporting, controls, efficiency and automation. I also support audit and compliance activities and work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to improve the quality and efficiency of financial reporting.
With my previous experience in managing AP operations, combined with my developing expertise in management accounting, I’m keen to bring a strong attention to detail, analytical approach and continuous improvement mindset to my new role.
I’m excited to get to know everyone, work together, and contribute to the team’s success and MLA College’s continued growth.
