Fiona joins MLA College as the Academic Registrar and Secretary to the Board having previously worked at the University of Suffolk where her latest role had been that of University Secretary.
Fiona has had an extensive career in higher education within registry, partnership, student services and data governance leading large teams that supported student experience from enrolment to graduation. As a senior officer of the University, Fiona was responsible for pan-university governance, legal affairs and statutory compliance assurance and Secretary to the University Board and its subsidiary company, the Dental Community Interest Company.
Passionate about the value of learning for all, Fiona has been a member of the Academic Registrars’ Council (ARC) Executive, Fellow of the Association of Higher Education Professionals (AHEP) and served as Chair of the Cambridge Access Validating Agency (CAVA) Council. Currently Fiona is Trustee for Boost Felixstowe Ltd, a charity providing chaplaincy services at Felixstowe School (and The Federation of Fairfield and Colneis (primary schools)); Chair of Horizon School Management Committee (a pupil referral unit for primary and secondary students); and Chair of the Church of England Nacton Primary School Governing Board.
