
Ellie is a postgraduate researcher with a background in Conservation and Marine Science. Her work focuses on sustainable and practical management strategies for Marine Protected Areas, the socioeconomic impacts of conservation, and the effects of human activity on wild species. She also explores ecosystem dynamics through predictive modelling and bioacoustic analysis. Ellie graduated from Bournemouth University with BSc (Hons) in Ecology and Wildlife Conservation before pursuing a Research Master’s degree. Over the course of her research, she has developed a deep interest in holistic, interdisciplinary approaches to conservation challenges. Outside of work, Ellie is passionate about travelling to unique landscapes, board sports, and spending time in nature.
